With LuvClip nail clippers nail trimming is no longer a struggle. It doesn't matter if your child wiggles because you are no longer afraid of injuring them if they don't hold perfectly still. Instead, you can relax and snuggle happily with your child as you trim their nails.

IMPORTANT CONCEPT: When the Adjustable Blade-Gap is precisely large enough to allow only the nail between the cutting blades, there is no room for the skin to fit between the blades, thus there is no risk of accidental injury.

Get accustomed to rotating the Micro-Precision Adjustment Dial to fit the Adjustable Blade Gap to your own nails. Notice how the nail on your smallest finger is thinner than the nail on your thumb. For different nail thicknesses you can turn the Micro-Precision Adjustment Dial (either direction) to change the Adjustable Blade Gap so that it is precisely large enough to fit only the nail between the blades. Notice how easy it is to slide the clippers along the natural curve of your fingers because the Blade Angles act like a "funnel" making it super easy to slide the nail between the blades. You'll fall in "Luv" with LuvClip nail clippers and they will become your favorite nail trimmers to use! 

DIRECTIONS

1. Turn the Micro-Precision Adjustment Dial to a larger (or smaller) Blade Gap Index Number so that only the nail fits precisely between the blades.
   
   

   TIP: Start at Blade Gap Index Number 1 and test sliding the nail into the "funnel-shaped" Blade Angles to see if only the nail fits precisely between the blades. If it does, go to step #2 below.  Otherwise repeat the processes of turning the Micro-Precision Adjustment Dial to the next higher (or lower) Blade Gap Index Number.  Again, try sliding the nail into the Blade Angles and between the blades until you have the Adjustable Blade Gap set so that it is precisely large enough so that only the nail slides between the blades and then proceed to step #2 below.

2. Starting on one side of the nail, with just part of the nail between the blades, squeeze the Ergonomic Thumb Lever to cut that part of the nail.
    
3. After you release the Ergonomic Thumb Lever, slide the clippers along the nail following the natural curve of the finger-tip to the next part of the nail that needs to be trimmed and squeeze the Ergonomic Thumb Lever again. Repeat this process until the entire nail is trimmed.
   
   NOTE: The Blade Angles are designed to "funnel" the nail between the blades, allowing you to easily slide the clippers to the next part of the nail that needs to be trimmed - without needing to pull the nail clippers away.
